Deer Run Animal Medical Center is unique to the Richmond area, offering 24 hour/ 7 days a week veterinary hospital care including laser surgery, orthopedics, emergency medicine, dentistry, laser therapy, nutrition, routine care, diagnostics, and affordable, quality after hours care. Our team, from our friendly receptionists to our highly trained doctors, and licensed veterinary technicians and assistants, combines state-of-the-art medicine along with old fashioned compassion.

During our normal daytime hours, 7:30 to 6:30 Monday through Friday, and Sat. 7:30 to 12:00, we prefer appointments but will accept walk-ins as well. All other hours are covered by our after hours staff, which operates on a first come, first served basis, where the most critical patients are seen first.

Deer Run Animal Medical Center cares for the clients of other veterinary hospitals, as well, offering post-surgical care and critical care to the patients of referring hospitals. Deer Run is unique in that its round-the-clock coverage allows for immediate communication with the pet’s referring doctor no matter the time of day.
